The type of glass in a window is determined by the use of the window. The majority of our windows are supplied with clear glass, toughened BS6206 standard. Thicknesses of 4, 5 and 6mm are usual, although other thicknesses can be accommodated to suit your requirements.
Tinted glass is available in standard green, bronze and grey tints, but only in 4 or 6mm thickness.
Other glass types include laminated, frosted glass (bathroom glass) and double glazed units are all Available ! !
Painted splashbacks for Kitchens and bathrooms are available to any British rall number. Just a set up fee will be charged at the time per order.
Kellett windows are robustly constructed from aluminium alloy produced to BS6063. Our standard frame sections can be identified by the number of channels within the section along with the size of the associated flange and its position. For example, 22mm single channel is popular for single glazed fixed windows, whilst 22mm flush double channel is often used in a sliding window. Our windows are available in several different finishes of powder-coating.
Initially is it etched/abraded then electrically charged with powder coat and baked to a solid and hardened finish.
Mill finish or factory sent aluminium is available if you want to apply your own finish ! !
We can offer a brushed anodised finish, but there are certain stipulations to the cost and size of the frames.
